Darren has a passion for the outdoors, particularly Scotland and Norway but is also keen to introduce customers to some of the hidden beauty spots that are right on our doorsteps.
As a result Boot Routes was born, with guided walks, navigation courses, guided walks in some stunning locations, Hill Skills and Mountain Skills courses.
We specialise in hill and moorland walks in the Peak District, but also offer guided walks in other mountainous areas such as The Lake District, Snowdonia, Yorkshire Dales, Scotland and Norway. Prior to any guided walk we will ensure that the walk matches the expectations of the customer, specifically in relation to distance, time, and difficulty,
Almost all of the walks are led personally by Darren or with occasional help from other qualified guides.
For details of all our courses and walks, please visit our events page.
